The principal of the abducted Oyo school, Mrs. Alamu, has recounted the harrowing killing of two teachers while they were being held captive by their abductors.
Speaking about the ordeal, Mrs. Alamu said the first victim, identified as Mr. Michael, was killed on the second day of their abduction. She added that a second teacher, identified as Deacon, was killed on the first Sunday of June.
According to her, the abductors deliberately carried out the killings in an attempt to pressure the government into meeting their demands.
“They killed Mr. Michael on the second day of our abduction. They killed Deacon on the first Sunday of June. They did it deliberately because they believed it would force the government to give them whatever they wanted,” she said.
The account underscores the devastating toll of the abduction, highlighting the trauma suffered by the victims and the tragic loss of the two teachers while in captivity.
