Organisers of Big Brother Naija have announced plans for the show’s 11th season, hinting that auditions will commence shortly.
The development was disclosed on Tuesday via the programme’s official X account, accompanied by a teaser video and the caption, “Biggie is calling. Are you ready to answer?” A follow-up post confirmed the comeback, stating, “It’s back.
Auditions coming soon!”
The upcoming edition follows the conclusion of Season 10, which debuted on July 26, 2025, and featured 29 contestants competing for a grand prize of ₦150 million.
Season 10 introduced several format changes, particularly in the Head of House contest. While the initial leadership was determined during Sunday’s challenge, a second game on Monday had the potential to alter the outcome.
Contestants who finished last in the challenge were automatically placed on the eviction list.
Other additions included the “Bag of Big Twists,” overseen by the Head of House, and the “red telephone,” which delivered unexpected instructions from Biggie.
The season also featured the “Influential Player of the Week,” aimed at boosting strategic gameplay.
At the finale, Imisi Ayanwale emerged winner with 42.8 per cent of the votes, beating fellow finalists Dede, Koyin, Sultana, Kola, Jason Jae, Mensan, Isabella, and Kaybobo.
Her victory places her alongside past winners such as Mercy Eke, Laycon, Whitemoney, Phyna, and Ilebaye.
