The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has launched the Senior Customs Command and Leadership Course for senior officers at its Command and Staff College in Gwagwalada, aiming to prepare them for higher responsibilities.
Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, described the programme as a key investment in the Service’s future, urging participants to embrace reflection, discipline, mentorship, and team-driven leadership.
The course covers leadership essentials, including integrity, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement, with practical lessons on teamwork drawn from the 4×100-metre relay.
Adeniyi encouraged officers to apply their learning to build strong teams and advance the NCS.
