Human rights lawyer and activist, Femi Falana, has called on the Federal Government to take urgent steps to address the worsening insecurity across the country.
Speaking with journalists at the Democracy Day protest ground in Ikeja, Lagos, Falana urged authorities to intensify efforts aimed at protecting lives and property nationwide.
The senior advocate also demanded the immediate release of abducted schoolchildren and other Nigerians currently in captivity of kidnappers and criminal gangs.
Falana reiterated the demands of the protesters for improved security and better living conditions for citizens as the demonstration continued in Lagos.
