Between 10th and 12th January 2026, operatives of the Command’s elite Scorpion Squad, led by ACP Victor O. Godfrey, carried out intelligence-led raids in Apo-Waru and Durumi following complaints from victims in Asokoro, Mabuchi, and Utako.
The police traced the gang to a Durumi hideout, where an exchange of gunfire ensued, resulting in the arrest of eight suspects.
