JAMB Opens 2026 Direct Entry Registration, Sets April 25 Deadline

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has commenced the sale of application forms for the 2026 Direct Entry registration.
In a statement issued on Monday, March 2, 2026, the board announced that the registration exercise is now open and will close on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
JAMB stated that the registration process will be conducted exclusively at its offices across the country, advising prospective candidates to visit the nearest JAMB office to complete their applications within the specified timeframe.
The Direct Entry programme is designed for candidates with advanced qualifications such as National Diploma, National Certificate of Education, IJMB, JUPEB, or other equivalent certificates, who seek admission directly into the second year of a university course.
The board encouraged eligible applicants to register early to avoid last-minute congestion before the deadline.
