NiMet forecasts dust haze in North, thunderstorms in southern regions

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has projected moderate to slight dust haze across parts of the country, with northern states expected to be most affected.
In its Daily Weather Outlook shared on its official X handle, the agency cautioned that the dust haze may reduce visibility, particularly during the early morning hours.
According to NiMet, moderate dust haze with horizontal visibility ranging from two to five kilometres is anticipated over parts of Yobe, Katsina, northern Bauchi, Kano and Jigawa states during the morning period.
The agency advised residents and road users in affected areas to exercise caution as weather conditions evolve.
