Wike appoints Daura SSA on protocol matters

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of Sani Daura as Senior Special Assistant on Protocol Matters.
The appointment was announced in Abuja on Wednesday by the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.
According to Olayinka, Daura is a veteran civil servant with more than three decades of experience in the Protocol Department of the FCT Administration. He noted that Daura rose to the position of Director of FCT Protocol in 2019 and is due to retire from the civil service in January 2024.
Olayinka added that the appointment will take effect from the date of Daura’s retirement from public service.
